General Service Commercial Rates within the Marquette City Limits: U4
Who May Take Service: Any city customer for general purposes with less than a 25 KW demand and all electric.
Territory Applicable: All territory served by the Marquette Board of Light and Power in the city limits of Marquette, Michigan.
Hours of Service: Twenty-four hours daily
Character of Service: Single or three phase, alternating current, 60 hertz, at standard available voltages.
Rate:
Fixed Charge: $13.80
plus
First 3,500 KWH $0.0880 per KWH
Over 3,500 KWH $0.0600 per KWH
Minimum Charge: The minimum charge shall be $13.80 per meter.
Contract: None required
Rules Applying: Service is governed by the Marquette Board of Light and Power's Standard Rules and Regulations.
Conjunctional
billing will not be permitted in cases where the customer is presently
being served lighting and power loads through separate meters. In
these instances, whenever the customer at their expense will arrange
their wiring to receive energy through one single metered service, then
this rate shall apply to their entire requirements if their demand is
less than 25 KW.
